Holy smokes!!! Your vehicle is giving you problems and you need to find a great mechanic to fix it right. Weaver's diesel at the corner of Best and 15th street in Coeur d'Alene is the place to go. They do everything from a minor oil change to a complete overhaul. The owner James makes sure that the mechanics are top notch and very personable. There you have it, need help with your rig take it to Weaver's Diesel.

I cannot speak highly enough of this shop! Ive been taking my 2007 GMC (415,000 miles). for years from everything from major to minor things. I know the work gets done right and at a fair price. This last visit is no exception. The truck was having a fuel leak down issue. I had chased it but couldnt figure it out so to Weavers it went. I got a call less than two hours after they started working on it. Turns out a clamp was broken allowing the system to bleed back and cause my issue. A $1,89 clamp and one hour of shop time and Im back in the road. They could have charged me for several hours of shop time or more and I wouldnt have been the wiser. That isnt how they operate though.

I didn't have a lot of interaction with them. I brought my truck up to be looked at when I was having issues with it. They got it in to look at fairly quickly. The diagnostic was not good, transmission going bad. He didn't charge me, said he didn't like giving bad news and charging for it. Very helpful on alternatives.

Hello Hunter, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are always disheartened when our diagnostics come down to needing major component repair or replacement. The diagnostics was simple, whenever you have transmission fluid burnt as bad as yours was, it confirms internal slippage and burnt clutches. I would rather my service writers not charge for diagnostics such as this because one we didn't have a lot of time in it and two you didn't need a bill on top of it. My team always strives to provide the best service which leaves me wondering what we could have done to earn your five star.
