There are a few things considered when deciding what part we install to insure you don't experience failure. First and foremost is quality. Second, if the warranty should be based on parts and labor, or just parts. Then third is if the warranty needs to be local or nationwide. Price very seldom comes into play because my job is to keep you out of the shop. If I can install a part that I know will last twice as long, that's normally the route taken regardless of warranty. The majority of our parts will be covered by a 2year/24k mile parts and labor warranty. If we are dealing with a supplier that pays labor, but only so much of it, the customer is responsible for the remainder to compensate for labor rate or what ever supplies are not covered by the supplier. If this is the case, you will always be informed of the specifics for your repair. Regardless of all the "fine print", I will always do all that I can to take care of my customers!
